When you think of the 3-piece band and its place in history, what are the first few things that come to mind? The power of those 3 people, their songs, their harmonies, the space of what ISN’T there, the chemistry and interaction of its members that create such a unique, powerful, musical, colorful, and sometimes chaotic sound?

Us too.

The Strazzacasters are a continuation of the traditions that are set in stone in the template of Rock & Roll, RnB, Funk, Pop, Punk, and all that is yet to come.

The band consists of Tommy Strazza (Vocals, Guitar), Brian Prokop (Drums, Backing Vocals), and Jake Miller-Hoesly (Bass, Backing Vocals). They are capable of writing, producing, performing, and recording virtually any type of music under the sun. Simply, because they love all of it.

In the 5 years since their arrival in May of 2013, they have played and performed between 200-300, 3-hour-plus shows. On top of writing their own material, they regularly perform and cover other people’s songs from artists as diverse as The Jimi Hendrix Experience(including a cover-to-cover performance of “Are You Experienced?”), to Nirvana, to Magic.

To quote bandleader Tommy Strazza:

“We work really hard to get as much out of our little band as we possibly can. We are big on overachieving, and love playing full night shows. A 45-minute set is us just warming up. We want to give the audience an experience that they will remember.”

 “Side One” displays the bands ability to write a great song, and perform it with the passion and precision of both hungry street musicians, as well as seasoned studio professionals.

The Strazzacasters debut single, “Little Man”, is set for immediate release, and their debut E.P. “Side One”, will soon follow in the spring of 2019.
